Beniel City Council has today with a new patrol car for the local police, leading to improved technical and police functions in the municipality.
The Director General of Local Government, Institutional and External Relations, Juan Antonio Morales, gave the local mayor, Roberto Garcia, the vehicle for the acquisition of which the Community has awarded a grant of 21,500 euros.
This action is part of the budgetary allocations to improve police resources in the municipalities of the Region of Murcia, as said Morales, who highlighted the efforts made by the regional government in this matter.
The Regional Plan for Public Safety and the various police improvement programs driven by the Autonomous Community have provided the local police forces in the region of 628 new officers, 77 new vehicles and major support to bring the barracks and police stations in all municipalities.
