The Department of Women and Equality Beniel City Council, is very clear that on 8 March is a great day for all women in the municipality.
As in 2008, M ª Carmen Morales, head of this area has organized a week on the International Day for the Rights of Working Women to be held throughout this week in the town with several activities .
The program was inaugurated a few hours ago with the introduction of loops in the market by the mayor Roberto Garcia, and the three councilors who occupy the municipal corporation.
The mayor has distributed brochures to the schedule that will be held until Friday, and has placed many women in the municipality a purple ribbon in the lapels of their jackets.
The activities will continue tomorrow with a starring radio talk Beniel several women in the current addressing topics important to the participants.
Wednesday will be the big day, as they held the traditional awards to Beniel Working Women and the prizes of the literary contest of the local women.
To close the day on March 4, will perform a monologue about women.
Other initiatives such as the exhibition of work by high school students, a workshop on self-esteem and crafts, breakfast in the social and play "My aunt and her things," have no place in this week devoted to Beniel women.
