Beniel joins the 'Entrepreneur Municipality' initiative today following the signing of a collaboration agreement between the Minister of Industry, Enterprise and Innovation, José Ballesta, and the local mayor, Roberto García, through which they promote different actions to encourage the creation and development of entrepreneurial business ventures.
The Minister José Ballesta stressed that this agreement "seeks unity of action between the regional and local administrations, which are coordinated to promote initiatives to stimulate local business development, achieving economic growth and create jobs, creating an enabling environment."
In addition, the holder of said Company "includes two priority commitments to the region, to be found in the law of regional entrepreneurs, administrative simplification and access to funding."
The agreement includes eight axes of action are specified in 57 measures, including actions that are intended to awaken the entrepreneurial spirit at an early age, and to value the perception that society has of the entrepreneur.
It also includes identifying sources of employment generators of the municipality and encourage the creation of related major and potential business of the town, such as the retail, consultancy, food research, recreation, cultural, sports and service companies to society.
In this partnership is committed to the promotion and strengthening of own or other infrastructure that can accommodate activities in its initial phase on advantageous terms.
Thus, the Institute for the Promotion of the Region (Info) encourage, along with the city, hosting entrepreneurs and new business initiatives in the business incubator of the municipality, and this, in turn, be integrated into the network nurseries that promotes regional body.
Also, both administrations cooperate in identifying existing current offer plots, warehouses and offices free 'The Cairn' industrial park, and the development of support activities to the business and potential entrepreneurs through various instruments and through its integration into the Red Point SMEs.

With this addition and 18 municipalities are distinguished as entrepreneurs: Abarán, Eagles, Alhama de Murcia, Murcia, Beniel, Cartagena, Cehegín, Cieza, Fuente Alamo, La Union, Lorquí, Molina de Segura, Mula, Puerto Lumbreras, Santomera, Totana , Yecla and Jumilla.
The 'Entrepreneur Municipality' initiative is an action that the regional government, through the info, makes a pioneer in Spain, part of the 'Plan Emprendemos' of the region, for which the Community won the award 'European Entrepreneurial Region' European Commission.
