The Union of Worker Cooperatives in the Region of Murcia (Ucomur) and the City Council have signed this morning Beniel a collaboration agreement to promote cooperatives and the creation of employment in the municipality.
The document was signed by the mayor of the town, Roberto Garcia, and President of the organization, Juan Antonio Pedroza, in the presence of the Councillor for Employment, Mari Carmen Morales, and technicians of the Consistory and the organization, and how part of the action lines of the 'Uses Beniel'.
The agreement aims to improve opportunities for those who want to file their business within the municipality, as they will have, in addition to support in advising entrepreneurs being done by the technicians of the Local Development Agency of the City, the Ucomur.
Garcia has said that the union is at the moment one of the best solutions to reduce the high unemployment rate in the region, and explained some of the most important measures included in the project 'employs Beniel' as a catalog of bonuses local taxes and fees for new businesses to be installed in the municipality, a study of the major niche markets that can be exploited, a special program for ancillary businesses serving businesses that are already operating, and a nest of companies .
Pedroza, meanwhile, said that the organization wants to enhance the dissemination of the cooperative, "a model that has proven to work".

Ucomur also stressed that participated this year in 12 cases of conversions or retrofits in cooperative business enterprises, through this legal formula, avoid closing business and save jobs.
Under the agreement, there will be a series of activities in the municipality to report on how to start a business project under the cooperative formula, in addition to all aid, financial instruments and measures available to facilitate the process.
The first one, a workshop on cooperative and entrepreneurship, will take place on November 27.
Through the agreement, to be effective for one year, is committed to developing Ucomur advice and training measures aimed at improving the business and professional qualifications of those who opt for self-employment through the cooperative formula.
Also provide direct care and individualized, designed to enhance self-employment, as well as advice that allows the incorporation into the labor market, either as an employee or through cooperatives, and European programs to promote employment.
Similarly, courses and lectures will be offered information on the social economy in general, and cooperatives, in particular, as well as training for the creation and implementation of this business model.
