The director general of the Institute of Cultural Industries and Arts, Juan Antonio Lorca, inaugurated today the exhibition 'The cracks in time', part of the Circuit of Visual Arts in the Region of Murcia, initiative arising from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in order to show the equity of the Autonomous Community of the municipalities of the region.
The exhibition features the work of the last decade of 21 artists on the national scene: Santiago Sierra, Juan Olivares, FOD, Fernando Sánchez Castillo, Eduardo Balance, Marina Nunez, Daniel G.
Verbis, Ydáñez Santiago, Javier Arce, Sonia Navarro, Kaoru Katayama, Javier Núñez Gasco, Alicia Martin, Manuel Saro, Democracy, Nelo Vinuesa, Bene Bergado, Fermín Jiménez Landa, Enrique Marty, Maria Ortega and Charris, through photography, installation , sculpture and painting,
Also, this week also inaugurated the exhibition 'Flesh and Stone', which is the relationship between body and space in international contemporary photography through the work of 16 artists, both established and young promises: Nobuyoshi Araki, Sergio Belinchón, Edwin Wurm , Aitor Ortiz, Joseph Beuys, Reinold Reynolds Patrick Jolley, Alfredo Jaar, Daniele Bueti, Hair Carceller, Thomas Ruff, Ugas Llorenç Dubreuil, Carles Congost, Raul Belinchón, Daniela Edburg, Montserrat Soto and Per Barclay.
'The cracks in time' be open until February 18 at the Cultural Center of Beniel Infanta Cristina, and 'Flesh and Stone' until 15 February at the House of Culture of Bullas.
