The Director General of Planning, Evaluation and Environmental Control, Francisco Espejo, attended today's launching of two teams of underground containers Beniel assigned to City Council in response to their demand for infrastructure necessary for the proper treatment of waste generated the municipality.
The construction of such infrastructure represents an investment of 40,000 euros, financed by 80 percent cohesion funds the European Union and the rest of the region.
Each team consists of four containers housed in a single platform, which are raised by a hydraulic system, thus being available to professionals in the collection of waste to empty.

Finally, he announced that the municipality of Beniel "will soon receive another 64 urban containers for selective collection of plastic containers, paper and cardboard and used cooking oil, plus 934 units of household containers for domestic waste separation."
