The Minister of Economy and Finance, Inmaculada García, today inaugurated 'Benielnet' municipal wireless network, which will improve access to new technologies to citizens and businesses of Beniel and e-government procedures with the City allowing you to service 24 hours a day throughout the year.
Municipal wireless network project is an action 'Beniel Digital Crossroads', selected by the Community in 2009 as Digital City.
This project has a grant of 1,258,000 Euros from 50 percent of funds of the Third Development Plan of the Information Society in the Region of Murcia, and the rest of the Ministry of Industry, through the Plan Avanza.
"Benielnet about the citizens of the municipality of the shares of Digital City project, to make available a network to improve communications with the city and access to Internet and municipal services from their computers or phones," said the owner Economy.
The network will also serve as communication devices that the City is installing as digital kiosks and information boards, so that citizens, through this network can access the latest information and municipal procedures.
