The municipality of Beniel has a new stop in the urbanization of Rocasa for the public transport service of line 31, in the itinerary that connects the town with the city of Murcia.
The general director of Transport, Coasts and Ports, José Ramón Díez de Revenga, visited the new stop that "improves the safety of the travelers because it avoids that the users of the line, fundamentally elder people, have to travel 800 meters along paths of orchard to be able to access this collective transport service ".
José Ramón Diez de Revenga explained that the authorization of this halt responds "to a demand from the residents of Beniel and the commitment of the regional government to bring public transport to citizens, in order to facilitate the use of the bus as much as possible. private vehicle. "
The Community authorized this stop once it was found that the space met the safety conditions for bus users and residents of Beniel.
According to the regulations, a preliminary work has been carried out to enable and signal it because it is located on an urban road of municipal ownership.
Frequencies of Line 31
Line 31, in the direction of Murcia, has a frequency of one hour, from 6:45 to 21:45 hours, working days and Saturdays, while on Sundays and holidays the frequency is two hours, between 9 : 15 and 21:15.
In the direction of El Raal, the frequency of this line on work days is identical to the previous one, although the service starts at 8:25 and ends at 22:20.
The service on Saturdays is from 7:43 until 20:43, being its frequency one hour, and on Sundays it starts at 9:13 and ends at 23:05, with a frequency of two hours.
