In return for the € 96,000 that the City pays the Consortium for Fire Fighting each year, Mari Carmen Morales believes "reasonable" that the CARM collaborate "more and better" with Beniel
Mari Carmen Morales, Mayor of the City of Beniel met this morning with Manuel Duran Garcia, Director General of Public Safety and Emergency Autonomous Community of Murcia.
The Councillor for Beniel has used this visit to the municipality to transfer to Duran Garcia needs that locality safety, specifically on the necessary resources for the group of Civil Protection.
Training volunteers, with more than 15 members, is already an entity in Beniel, and actively collaborate in all activities that require security, support the local police in services deemed necessary, such as parades, mass events, floods , fires, etc.
Morales has asked the Director General of Emergency training for volunteers, necessary for these kits and the Directorate General also takes charge of fuel for vehicles.
Currently, the City is responsible for communications, clothing, materials, fuel, and the existing basis for the group, which in the coming weeks will release a new seat in front of the Blessed Park Ruíz Cascales.
Mari Carmen Morales has requested more assistance for this group of volunteers because as said "it is logical that this Consistory need to be supported by the Directorate General of Security and Emergency, although in the municipal budget this year were allocated more than 12,000 € for Civil Protection ".
He added that, "I think the annual payment made by the City of Beniel of 96,000 € to the Consortium firefighting is too much for the little that we receive by the Consortium, so I beg you to check from the Autonomous Community endowment It helps groups of Civil Protection to what is equitable pay the municipalities with their collaboration ".
