The general director of the Institute of Tourism, Manuel Fernández-Delgado, met this week with the Councillor for Tourism Beniel, Antonio Navarro, to study the development of a detour on the 'Camino de Levante' that would allow pilgrims to know the center of the town of Beniel and other attractions such as wells and natural resources.

With this type of action, confirmed Fernandez-Delgado, "pilgrims will have the option to visit other places of interest temporarily abandoning the Way of the Cross and then return to him."
