The Local Police of Beniel, through the figure of the Police Tutor, has started an awareness campaign aimed at first cycle students of IES Gil de Junterón.
To this end, the Guidance Department of the IES has allocated different hours of tutorials to give these talks.
In this first phase of the project, the information sessions have been held among 1st and 2nd year ESO students. Due to the health crisis produced by COVID-19, the Police Tutor has carried out awareness-raising tasks during the lectures in the classes, focusing a good part of the day on highlighting the importance of complying with and respecting all prevention and protection measures against the virus.
Local Police Beniel highlights the importance of raising awareness among students about this matter and underlines the good reception by the students. The Police Tutor, as in past years, has taken up a large part of the information and awareness days to raise awareness about bullying and its consequences.
Due to the situation of tension that we face as a society, threats, aggressions and conflicts can increase, and it is essential to always use the word and respect. Finally and continuing with the trajectory of the Police Guardian, he has been informed about the risks of the incorrect use of new technologies and the problems derived from their misuse.
The youngest use these tools on a daily basis and it is necessary that they also know their negative aspects. From the Beniel City Council we appreciate the involvement of the Beniel Local Police force, as well as the figure of the Guardian Police, in these informative and awareness-raising talks.
Also the support and collaboration of the IES Gil de Junterón guidance team.
