In coordination with the heads of the Health Center and the health authorities of the Region of Murcia, we update the epidemiological data of the municipality.

We have been informed of an increase in cases in recent days, with a total of 17 people diagnosed with COVID19 during this last week.These infections originate in the private sphere, both in family gatherings, private parties, and in entertainment venues outside our municipal area.

All contact isolation and traceability protocols remain operational, as any close contact must be quarantined.From the City Council we maintain coordination with the competent authorities in health matters in the Region of Murcia, who report that the situation remains stable at the moment, although they do not rule out an increase in cases in the town in the coming days.

We face a crucial moment in this pandemic so that we don't have to back down.To maximize preventive measures from the City Council we announce the provisional postponement of all planned activities during the month of August, despite being carried out in compliance with health protocols.

Public spaces, such as parks, sports areas and canine recreation areas, are kept open and are disinfected daily.

We continue to appeal to individual responsibility in the use of these spaces, so as not to have to adopt more restrictive measures such as their closure.It is essential that in case of presenting symptoms compatible with COVID-19, you contact the telephone number 900 12 12 12.

To reiterate once again the importance of complying with all health indications, of maintaining an interpersonal safety distance of at least 1.5 meters at all times, to maximize personal hygiene and to wear a mask on a mandatory basis covering mouth and nose.
