After carrying out an intensive cleaning and disinfection, the Municipal Cemetery will be reopened this Thursday, after the start of phase 1 in the Region of Murcia of the plan for the transition to a new normality.The opening will be carried out with the maximum safety and hygiene measures and in accordance with the order SND / 399/2020 of May 9, for the relaxation of certain national restrictions.Visits can be made from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m.
to 1:30 p.m.
and from 5:00 p.m.
to 8:00 p.m.
and Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 9:00 a.m.
to 1:30 p.m.
Access will be enabled only through the front door.People who visit the cemetery must respect hygiene and safety measures at all times.
In particular, intensify hand washing, avoid touching elements of common use, respect the social distance between people of at least two meters and the use of a mask whenever possible.From the City Council we want to thank the understanding of the citizens after the health emergency situation, where mobility and movements have been limited throughout the national territory.During the weeks in which the cemetery has been closed to the public, cleaning, disinfection, container washing and routine care have continued to be carried out in order to keep it in perfect condition.Inform that if there are crowds, uncivil behavior or hygiene and safety measures are not respected, the closure of the Municipal Cemetery would be studied, with the aim of protecting the health of citizens.
Therefore we call for individual responsibility for compliance with these standards and to avoid crowds.These measures referring to visits do not imply any modification in relation to the accompaniment to burials, maintaining the number of people already established.
This is a maximum of 15 people to attend funerals and funerals in open spaces and a maximum of 10 in closed spaces, in compliance with order SND / 399/2020 issued on May 9.
