On the occasion of Universal Children's Day, the City Council organized a conference to raise awareness and raise awareness of the rights of children and adolescents for schools in the municipality.
This year marks the 30th anniversary since the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child in 1989.
For several days the mayor, Mari Carmen Morales, along with other members of the Corporation, have received schoolchildren from different centers and have been explained what are the rights of children.
They have also carried out an activity in the plenary hall with the purpose of knowing the work carried out by the Consistory and how it affects them.
They have also visited other municipal facilities, such as the premises of the Local Police Corps.
Within this action these days the facade of the City Council has been illuminated with a blue light, thus adding to the UNICEF initiative to give greater visibility and raise awareness of the rights of our children.
