Recently the students of 6th grade of the Antonio Monzón and Río Segura schools have visited the Plenary Hall of the City Hall to celebrate the awards ceremony of the "Grow in Safety" contest, organized by the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety of the Region of Murcia in collaboration with the Department of Education and Sports.
Of all the drawings presented, finally ten have been awarded today, also having the possibility of winning the contest at the regional level.
This awards ceremony has been chaired by Mayor Mari Carmen Morales, Councilor José Antonio García Navarro and the General Director of Social Dialogue and Labor Welfare, Manuela Marín.
The objective of this project, which is carried out annually, is to raise awareness about the importance of safety in all areas of everyday life, with special emphasis on job security.
The prizes awarded have been a security kit and diploma from the Institute of Health and Safety and several technological awards from the City Council.
