The Autonomous Community is putting out to tender the improvement works for the regional highway RM-F17, which joins the municipality of Beniel with the hamlet of Zeneta, and which consist of reinforcing the road in a five-kilometer stretch.
This action is framed in the annual conservation program of the regional road network and has a bidding budget of more than 444,000 euros.
The Minister of Development and Infrastructure, Patricio Valverde, said that the RM-B17 highway "is a very important communication axis that connects the municipality of Beniel with the RM-1 highway, which connects San Javier with Zeneta, and with the RM roads -300 and RM-303, which are large collectors and traffic distributors of the South and East of the Huerta de Murcia ".
"The work will entail an improvement in road safety since the causeway of the section of action is deteriorated due to its use." Currently, the traffic it registers rises to 3,587 vehicles a day, of which 268 are heavy, explained the counselor .
The action is completed with the improvement of the horizontal and vertical signage that currently does not have the appropriate conditions of conservation.
The profile of the contractor of the Autonomous Community published this announcement of the tender yesterday.
Companies interested in undertaking the works, may submit their offers until next May 30.
