The City of Beniel and 'Sermubeniel', the municipal services company, have launched an intensive cleaning campaign that aims to eliminate the unpleasant odor of pet urine with an innovative safe product for people and animals.
This initiative, focused on the facades of buildings, corners, sidewalks and other critical points such as parks and gardens throughout the municipality, consists of two consecutive phases.
On the one hand, a shock treatment consisting of an initial cleaning and the subsequent application of the specific product that is responsible for repelling rust and neutralizing the odor of it will be carried out.
In a second phase a maintenance treatment will be carried out periodically with the application of the product against the urine to maintain the effects of the same over time.
The duration of the first phase of the campaign, corresponding to the shock treatment, is scheduled for a week during which about 150 liters of product will be used.
Fifteen days later, the first maintenance treatment will be carried out, which will be repeated periodically according to the needs of each area.
Also, from the City of Beniel will distribute pet owners sprayers so that they can incorporate them in their daily walks and assist in the elimination of urine.
The pulverizadores are destined to contain the following mixtures that the owner will do according to his preferences: vinegar and bicarbonate, oxygenated water and soap, lemon and water, or ammonia and water.
