Mari Carmen Morales, current councilor of Beniel, has announced an initiative of Youth Participation aimed at community dynamization of the municipality through the involvement of young people who are studying at secondary schools in the town.
The Community Dynamist, Jessica Carrillo Herrero, has gone to the different institutes (Centro Azalea and IES Gil de Junterón) to explain first hand the adolescents in which this project consisted and the advantages it has for them.
During the exhibition several ideas have been emerging that will evolve in the coming weeks.
Mari Carmen Morales, mayor of the municipality, stressed her commitment to participation and transparency: "This project is a new opportunity for Beniel can continue to grow with the collaboration of all," says the mayor.
"This action is part of the direction marked since 2015 with the implementation of participatory budgets, the publication of the agenda of the mayor together with other initiatives that allow us to give voice to our neighbors and be more transparent with them," concludes Morales.
This call aims to promote Youth Participatory Projects that carry out activities that promote, among others, educational values ​​and teamwork. For this, we have the figure of the Community Dynamist that will monitor these projects with the objective to help the students in their development, pursuing that they can get the most out of their ideas.
The City will allocate € 3000 for the proposed projects, with a total of 6 projects that will receive up to € 500 for its development in the following lines of action: Sports, Alternative Leisure, Interculturality and Coexistence, and Training.
