The largest of Beniel have today of the first Senior Center in the municipality, a new building that will give them a place to hold meetings and organize activities.
The Minister of Presidency and Public Administration, María Pedro Reverte, and the mayor of Beniel, Roberto García, today inaugurated the new premises, which involves an investment of 427,143 euros, of which 176,324 euros were provided by the Autonomous Community, through the Works and Services Plan, and the remainder by the Consistory.
This is a multifunction building with ground floor and offices necessary for the development of meetings and leisure activities for older people in the municipality.
It has a cafeteria, several multipurpose rooms, offices and toilets.
The opening ceremony, also attended by the Directors General of Local Government, Institutional and External Relations, Juan Antonio Morales, and Pensions, Assessment and Inclusion Programs, John Brown, had the presence of a large group over the municipality, which Reverte welcomed the "excellent facilities that can now enjoy knowing that had long demanded and which, fortunately, thanks to the efforts of everyone, and are available in this new building."
