The Minister of Culture and Tourism, Pedro Alberto Cruz, accompanied by the mayor of Beniel, Roberto García, today inaugurated the city's sports complex, including the Regional Sports Facilities Plan which has an investment by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, 398,745 euros.
This new sports infrastructure "will allow to extend the quality of life of citizens of the municipality," said Cruz and stressed "the social nature of investment in sports facilities, since each dollar spent is monetized by hundreds of users each day use sports services. "
The works have involved the construction of three tennis courts with synthetic floor, four paddle courts and an area called pre-sport that includes a multi-sports and a playground for children aged 3 to 6 years and over playground for children 6 to 12 years of age, and also includes the development of the whole area and its surroundings.
